Jeff Beatty Opposes Deval Patrick's higher education proposal for illegal immigrants
January 23, 2008Massachusetts Republican Jeff Beatty joined members of MACR, the Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans, last week to deomstrate their opposition to Gov. Deval Patrick's higher education proposal for illegal immigrants. Patrick's plan would make tuition more affordable to illegal immigrants. Beatty is against this idea, citing his belief that "our first obligation is to our law-abiding citizens."
